Capelli Sports, uniform provider for the USA national field hockey teams, is the new uniform provider for BAYS Field Hockey Club!  Each club athlete is required to have the player kit, which consists of a home jersey, an away jersey, skort, and reversible pinnie.  Player kit for goalies includes a home jersey and an away jersey.  See here for design and sizing.

The 2025-2026 indoor season is here!

Evaluations:  The 2025-2026 club-level teams will be selected based on evaluations conducted by club coaches: Sept 21, 7pm-9pm at Benfield Sports Center.  Athletes selected for these teams will be expected to compete in regional tournaments, and commit to participation at NITs or the NIF. 

Fee: $300

Practices: All practices are at Odenton Sports Center, Odenton, MD.  Each athlete should have the following at each practice: indoor stick, shinguards, mouthguard, water bottle, and BAYS reversible practice pinnie.  Goalies will be provided gear if needed.

Teams:  U12 (birthdates 8/1/13-7/31/16), U14 (birthdates 8/1/11-7/31/13), U16 (birthdates 8/1/09-7/31/11), U19 (birthdates 8/1/07-7/31/09)

Games:  BAYS competes in 3-4 regional tournaments during the season and will finish the season at the National Indoor Tournament (pending qualification for U16 & U19) or the National Indoor Festival.  

Registration for the 2025 Spring Season Closed Feb 28!

BAYS is entering our third spring club field hockey season in 2024.  We offer teams at the U12 (birth years 2012-2014), U14 (birth years 2010-2011), and U16 (birth years 2008-2009) levels.  If we have enough interest, we will also field a U19 (birth years 2005-2007) team.  Registration for each age level is $175.00.

Evaluations:  The 2024 BAYS Field Hockey Club spring teams will be selected based on evaluations conducted by club coaches.  Athletes selected for these teams will be expected to compete in the Howard County Club Field Hockey League, and other tournaments as scheduled.  Evaluations will occur in February or March. 

Practices: One - two days per week to be announced before the beginning of the season.  Each athlete should have the following at each practice: outdoor stick, shinguards, mouthguard, water bottle, and BAYS reversible practice pinnie.  Goalies will be provided gear.

Uniforms:  All athletes are required to have a full BAYS uniform kit, which is $90.  New athletes will be issued a roster number by BAYS after registration.

Games:  BAYS will compete in the Greater Howard Club FH league.  We may also field teams at one additional tournament.
