Fall Season: September 1 - October 30. Registration is now open until August 1st. Price includes double elimination all-day BAYS volleyball tournament at Pip Moyer Rec Center.
Age: BAYS offers teams in the following age groups. Age determined by players age on Sept 1 of current year.
U10 Ages 8-10 year olds - Rec teams
U12 Ages 11-12 year olds - Rec teams
U14 Ages 13-14 year olds - Rec and 'A' teams
17U Ages 14- 17 High School Rec teams
Gender: Girls and Boys 8-17 years old
Practices: Practices will be held at Magothy River Middle School Monday through Friday. Every team will have two one-hour-and-a-half practices per week.
Games: Games will be Sunday afternoons starting Mid September through the end of October.
Equipment/Uniform: Gym shoes and knee pads. Uniform Jersey from after 2021 to 2024 fall season (Black and Gold with BAYS on front and number on back - not T-Shirts from Spring) will be used again. If your player has a jersey that fits you don’t need a new jerseys. New Jerseys can be purchased during registration if needed.
Rules: USAV with some modifications by Anne Anundel County Recreation and Parks.

Tryouts for 14U-ATeam: We will have 6-8 14U teams with one A-Team. 14U A team tryouts are August 15th from 6:00-8:00PM. If interested in trying out for the A-Team contact the commissioner directly to sign up. Phone calls or text messages are preferred. Boys and Girls can tryout for the A-Team. Tryouts for the 'A' team is optional and all players not trying out or who do not make the A-Team will be placed on one of the other regular recreation teams.
End of Season Double-Elimination Tournament: We will have our second annual double elimination tournament tentatively scheduled for 19 October all day from 8:30 am to 9 pm.
